Growing up around boats in the UK, and based in Australia since 1987, Matthew has been fortunate enough to skipper, manage, refit and sell some truly remarkable craft. He is passionate about all kinds of vessels, and has owned and restored several yachts and powerboats - from classic sloops to flybridge motor-yachts. Because of this rich depth of experience Matthew is able to offer both buyers and sellers the confidence that he really 'knows his boats'. If you're new to boating he can give a wealth of advice, but he is also able to talk shop with even the most salty boat-owner.

His background includes marina management in Australia (Akuna Bay) and the Caribbean (Antigua Yacht Club Marina), vessel delivery and project management, classic yacht restoration and superyacht skippering. He lives in Manly, QLD, is married to Ruth, and is kept busy with 2 young sons. Weekends will often find the family on board, enjoying Australia's great boating lifestyle.
