We take a different approach to marketing than most boat
brokers. We sat down with a clean sheet of paper to work
out the best way to bring together buyers and sellers in
today's dynamic market place. For example, most brokers
waste huge amounts of time talking to 'walk-ins' in their
offices. While everyone likes to 'have a yarn' about boats,
it's not usually an effective approach to closing a sale,
and we would rather spend our time out on the water, on the
dock, talking to qualified buyers about your boat.
We also take an intelligent approach to marketing
communications and advertising channels - we prefer to
advertise 'on-line' and in selected specialist publications
where appropriate. We have our own website, which is under
our direct control, and we advertise on BoatPoint and
YachtHub- Australia's premier web portals for boat sales,
as well as selected placement in Trade-A-Boat magazine. We
realise that every boat demands a different approach, so we
will work with you to develop an appropriate, unique,
effective marketing campaign for your boat. We will keep
you fully informed of the interest in your boat, make
recommendations for improvements and maintenance to ensure
the boat is in the best marketable condition, and
constantly review our strategy to ensure your boat stays
locked in the potential buyer's cross-hairs.
We maintain an actively managed database of
qualified buyer enquiries. While there is no
question that we are working for you, the seller, we never
forget that without a buyer we cannot close a deal. Many
brokers seem to treat their buyers as an inconvenience,
which we think is daft. There is never a shortage of buyers
in the market, it's simply a matter of finding the right
